A Great free Way To Get High PR Backlinks
If that bit of jargon confuses you, let me explain - but please read this carefully. It will be worth your time and effort!
“PR” = “Page Rank” and it’s one of Google’s ways of assessing how popular your website is, and which can influence your web page’s ranking in the search results. PR is significantly influenced by the number of websites which have a link back to yours.
And it’s not just the sheer number of sites which have a link back to your site (a “backlink”) but the PR of those sites which link back to you. So you could have any number of sites with a PR of, say, 2, back linking to you, and they still wouldn’t count as much as a PR6 site back linking to you.
Even better, so it is said, if it’s a “one way” backlink, rather than a “reciprocal link” (where the two sites exchange links), you’ll score even more Google brownie points!
OK, now for a bit of history (I’m not boring you, am I?)..
About two years ago, a dreadful bit of software came out called “Blog Link Generator”. It was a way of finding relevant blogs using a key word search and then automatically posting a comment to those blogs, complete with the URL of the site you were wanting to get a high ranking for.
Within weeks, this software spread like a rash throughout the internet marketing community - and the blogging platforms responded by banning the automated posting of comments.
End of “Blog Link Generator” - although you still see it packed in as a bonus with some stuff.
Now the idea of getting your URL-laden comment onto a blog is a good one, because, in Google’s eyes (and the other search engines), it counts as a one-way backlink. If the blog in question has a high PR, your comment could count as a very relevant backlink and so boost your search engine rankings.
Nowadays, the manual way of posting blog comments is the only sure way. And it comes with the problem of finding the relevant blogs with a high PR.
Yesterday, I used a neat bit of software (and it was free) which enabled me to do just that. Within 10 minutes, I’d found a relevant internet marketing blog with a PR of 6 - that’s very good - and spent a few minutes posting a well thought-out comment. So I now have a one-way backlink to my Newbies School of Internet Marketing from a site with a PR of 6. Very worthwhile - and if I do a few more of these, it will help to push the Newbies School site further up the search engine rankings.
You can see my comment here, with a backlink to my Newbies School:
(I’m using TinyURL because the link is rather a long one)
The software that I used is called “Comment Hut”. It’s being marketed by a couple of guys whom I haven’t encountered before, but a few email exchanges convinced me that they can be numbered amongst the “good guys”!

This is a “lite” version, which only searches WordPress blogs, but it still helped me, within minutes, to get this valuable high PR one-way backlink. I’ve since upgraded to the full version, which gives me a heck of a lot more blog platforms to explore.
OK, you need to put a little thinking in so that you can make a slightly more intelligent comment than something like “Luv yr blog. Now goto www.rubbishsite.com”!
Go and get this neat bit of software - and watch the instructional video before you put in your usual “name and email addy” to get your free download.
