An Easy Way To Start A Video Blog
“Update” subscriber Lee Wheeler pointed me in the direction of “PodBean”, an easy way to start “video blogging” - or “Vlogging” as it is being called. Vlogging isn’t new. It was being talked about as “the hot topic” way back in 2005.
But it’s only just gaining momentum with the growth in broadband users and the cheapness of camcorders.
Of course, you can simply upload videos to YouTube, but you can’t really write a lot alongside the video. Vlogging gives you a lot more flexibility in how you present your material. Almost at random, here’s an example of a video blog (rather humorous!):

You can, of course, put videos on any blog space, as the above example demonstrates. But PodBean seems to give dedicated server space for both video and audio blogs. If you’d like to find out more, here’s where to go:

This isn’t an endorsement of PodBean. I haven’t tried the service myself.
