ClickBank: A Favourite With Affiliate Marketers
I am a long-term fan of ClickBank. My first ClickBank account was set up on Friday, 22 December 2000! At that time, I was just playing with affiliate marketing - sort of stumbling around. But gradually, the cheques from ClickBank kept arriving regularly - twice per month. They kept growing in size - and NO, I’m not going to show you any naff screenshots of my ClickBank accounts!!
At first, I just picked up on new product launches and pr’omoted them. But increasingly, I started to focus on products sold through ClickBank which I selected. This strategy has also been increasingly successful.
Why am I telling you all this? One reason is that next week (hopefully), I’m releasing another of my “toolkits” - and it’s all about ClickBank. It includes some very powerful software products as well as other valuable tools.
As part of this toolkit, I wrote a brand new report on how to identify the most profitable ClickBank products to promote. However, I’ve decided to make this widely available for f’ree, and I’ve put a copy in the Download Library for you.
There’s no shortage of eBooks and courses out there telling you how to make the most out of your ClickBank affiliate marketing. In fact, success comes down to just two factors:
#1 Finding the right products to pr’omote
#2 Sending people to the sales pages as efficiently as possible
My short report covers the basics of #1. It’s not rocket science, but it could provide you with some help.
#2 is a little trickier. Many affiliate marketers are now saying that sending people to product review pages is the best way to convert visitors to your review page to buyers on the vendor’s sales page. These pages, typically, mention two or three products, with the one favoured by the affiliate marketer getting the highest rating.
I tend to agree with this approach, and it’s one that I’ve been experimenting with for a couple of month - in addition to my older review page at www.ianrecommends.co.uk
Apart from natural “organic” search engine traff’ic, many affiliate marketers are also using Google’s AdWords to send visitors to their review pages. But learning about AdWords is a completely different ball game!
My upcoming ClickBank ToolKit aims primarily to give you the tools to make your ClickBank affiliate marketing that much efficient. Watch out for it next week - and, of course, there’s going to be one of my “subscriber deals”!
Incidentally, one of the best guides to using ClickBank as an affiliate (as opposed to being a seller) is Harvey Segal’s “ClickBank Affiliate SuperTips”
Harvey is possibly one of the most experienced ClickBank marketers around. He even gets invited to attend ClickBank’s European Advisory Board meetings!
He has a very non-BS way of writing, and you’ll get a lot from this “how-to” eBook.
