I hesitated about putting a “?” in the title of this post. It sounds as though I’m querying the honesty of the statement!

But I’m not! Let me explain why not, and what my experience has been with this little-known product.

The Ultimate Search Engine Loophole has been a grossly under-promoted product, and I stumbled across it by chance.

I’ve got to admit that, when I first read the sales page I was a little skeptical. After all, I’d not heard about the two guys behind the project, Dave Kelly and Chris Rempel. And they were making some pretty strong claims about the ways that they had been able to dominate the MSN search engine. Let’s face it, much of search engine optimization (”SEO”) work seems to focus on Google.

But these two guys have turned their backs on Google, and concentrate on getting top rankings on MSN for highly competitive keywords.

I’m not talking about “long tail” phrases, but keywords with huge search numbers - such as “low mortgage”.

I’ve just checked this keyword phrase on Google, and it’s getting over 60,000 searches per month. MSN probably delivers about 25% of these results, so it’s still a very respectable 15,000 search results per month.

So to get the #1 ranking on MSN for this term is potentially very profitable. If you could find a finance company that paid you, say $1 per lead, and you could set up a sales page, ranked very high on MSN, which sent people to the finance company through your affiliate link, what do you think the potential could be?

Let me pluck some figures out of the air, and I’m being cautious here..

15,000 searches for the keyword

10% click-through rate = 1,500 people landing on your affiliate sales page

10% click-through rate to filling in an application form (it’s not a sale - it’s simply an enquiry.. a sales lead) = $150 per month x 12 = $1,800 per year.

Rinse and repeat for as many times as you like for different keywords, different affiliate schemes - or even your own products. What could this be worth to you?

OK, that’s the theory. What about the proof?

Let me first show you a very short video illustrating a few examples of the rankings that this “Ultimate Search Engine Loophole” technique has achieved. Then I’ll talk a bit about the product itself:

You can see another video, with different results, here:

http://www.IanSays.com/ILike/UltimateSearchEngineLoophole

OK, so what was my experience with “The Ultimate Search Engine Loophole”?

At first I wasn’t too impressed. I got a couple of short-ish reports, which were well presented, and some very clear instructional videos. I also bought the “LinkUBaiter” script, offered as an upsell, and which had very clear installation instructions.

But then these two guys started to pile on the value after my purchase! In the time since I bought the product, I’ve been given access to a bunch more very informative videos, and another two supplementary reports.

I had a bit of a problem with the LinkUBaiter script but Dave Kelly - the SEO and technical expert - got back to me very quickly. I realised that I’d made a silly mistake in setting up the script - but Dave was very kind to me!

So.. is this an easy way to “online riches”? Do you have to do much work?

No it’s not - if you’re expecting to achieve results with half an hour’s work. But if you are prepared to put the time in -and invest a little more cash (not a lot), then I think that this is a great system.

At first I thought that this was a “not for newbies” product. But in the days since I bought into the system, Dave and Chris (Chris is the internet marketing expert) have been working hard to give their customers some short cuts for people who are too short of time and cash to jump in at the deep end.

So, yes, you can start to use this “loophole” system if you are short of time/ money / skills. The training resources that Dave and Chris are providing are superb.

If I’d paid a 3-figure sum for this product I reckon that I’d have got my money’s worth.

But it’s nothing like as expensive as that. These two guys have really over-delivered.

I’m a happy bunny! Check this out for yourself:

http://www.IanSays.com/ILike/UltimateSearchEngineLoophole

By the way - you’re covered by ClickBank’s guarantee period if you’re not happy with the “Ultimate Loophole” system.

And another thing.. you really ought to go for the “LinkUBaiter” upsell. It’s well worth it. I’ve been testing it on this blog. Just look at “Resources” at the top of the right-hand column of this page. Then hit your browser refresh key a few times. You’ll see different resources listed there.

This really is “search engine bait”! And that’s just one of the tools in your “Ultimate Loophole” system. You don’t need LinkUBaiter to work the system - but you’ll kick yourself if you didn’t get it at the upsell price.

And most of them have some sort of rating system, and perhaps a few product reviews.

But I stumbled across one site last week where the quality of the product reviews seems to be much better than average - and the search facility, for me, at least, produced some highly relevant results. Here’s the site:

http://www.IanSays.com/TryOut/Softpedia

Of course, as with all reviews, you can’t trust a single review, and I suggest that, in addition to using this site, you also Google +review +”product name”. Even then, beware of the increasing number of so-called “reviews”, simply aimed at getting affiliate sales. I wrote about this last week.

But Softpedia might be a good starting point for you, since, as far as I can see, there are no reviews with affiliate links! And there are thousands of products for you to download, although many of them are trial versions.

But that’s what you’ll see on the sales page for a great new report on search engine optimisation.

I do like a sales page with a touch of humour. And that’s just what Adeel Chowdhry has brought to the page selling his new eBook, “SEO Wars”:

http://www.IanSays.com/NoMoreDarkSide

I’ve got the Master Resale Rights to this report. Normally I would rewrite the sales page for MRR stuff, but I just had to leave Adeel’s page virtually unchanged!

Fun stuff aside, this is an excellent and up-to-date manual on search engines and directories - and what you need to do to get your website to be highly visible in them.

There’s no “black hat” trickery in Adeel’s advice.. just 150 pages of fluff-free guidance. Amongst other things, “SEO Wars” covers:

What makes a good domain name

Google do’s and don’ts

Website management tools

What your website absolutely needs

.. and a ton of other stuff, too much to mention here. But if you watch the “trailer” for “SEO Wars” on the sales page, Adeel goes through the contents page of the report in detail:

http://www.IanSays.com/NoMoreDarkSide

Now for the real surprise - the price. It’s seven bucks - and that includes Master Resale Rights! For that sort of price you’d normally get a 20-page report stuffed with adverts. Not in this case!

And there’s no time limit. No “first x people only”. I’m leaving the sales page up indefinitely.

But you know how it goes. If you don’t go and grab it now, you’ll almost certainly forget about it a week from now!

By the way, if you want an example of Adeel’s search engine advice, watch the “Google Bomb” video which I’ve put in the Download Library this month. Again, no “dark side” black-hat nonsense - just good (and ingenious) advice.

And if you are looking for the “Darth Vader Webmaster” on the sales page, just scroll down to the signatures at the end of the page

There’s no doubt that if you are promoting an affiliate product, writing a review page for the product is a powerful technique. You weigh up the pros and cons of the product, maybe compare it to similar products, draw a conclusion - and put your affiliate link on the page.

In my view, this can only work effectively if you have used and liked the product. Otherwise, you are (in my humble opinion) being cynical and you are misleading your visitors.

There have been a number of people recently selling pre-made “review pages” for popular affiliate products. All you need to do is to edit the page, upload it to a web server and drive visitors to the page using, say, Google Adwords and social marketing sites.

Simple, isn’t it? Yes, but it will NOT work effectively!

I recently obtained one of these review site templates for a current, popular product being sold by affiliates. I did a search on Google, using the title tag of the web page, plus an unusual phrase included in the page. This latter is a useful way to find identical documents on the web (usually called a “footprint”).

Guess what - I found nearly 100 sites using this same review template.

Now when people are searching for reviews on a product, they’ll look at not just one, but several or many reviews.

And if they find a load of identical reviews, they are not going to be very impressed.

Avoid these “review site templates” like the plague. They’ll do you more harm than good.

The neat part about this is that anyone who has a PayPal account is going to make sure that their mail filters are set up so that they don’t miss payment notifications. Even if you do miss the PayPal email, you’re going to see it in your PayPal account when you next log in - and read the message accompanying the payment.

Incidentally, this was a low-priced product. I did the calculations and reckoned that he’d break even with less than a 0.5% conversion rate!

Now The Bad Mistake..

I was invited to visit a sales page where the product was a plug-in for Wordpress blogs. It wasn’t cheap, but it looked interesting (vaguely). It was yet another way of monetizing your blog by hyperlinking words that you selected to sales pages (your pages or affiliate pages).

As usual, there were some glowing testimonials, and, as usual, each person giving a testimonial had a link to a website of their choice.

I noticed that a couple of these testimonials had links to blogs. “Fine”, I thought, “I can see this plugin in action”.

Wrong! Neither of the blogs were using the plug-in. Guess what I did next? Yep! I left the plug-in sales page and I won’t be going back!

And the lesson you can learn from this? Go on, you can figure it out yourself

Each day, a new software gift is announced. You can download it right away but.. you only have 24 hours to download and install it. Miss it and it’s gone. Grr! I’ve seen stuff there I would have liked, but I’m too late.

You can see what was previously available, and how people who downloaded products rated it. Looking at the number of ratings and comments, it’s a pretty popular site.

You can be reminded about the daily freebie in a number of ways, including email. Mattie is reassuring about the latter. Mattie says in a post on the Marketing Update Community forum:

“I have been receiving their emails for over a year and have not had any problems with the company nor have I ever had an email from any company which has provided the download, so your mail box won’t fill with unwanted junk.”

So how do you access this treasure trove? I’m going to play fair and not bypass Mattie’s post. So please, go to the Marketing Update Community site:

http://www.MarketingUpdateCommunity.com/

.. and log in. If you’re not yet registered, then please do so. I’ve made this a painless process, so it’s quick and easy. After logging in, go to the “Special Off’ers” sub-forum and read Mattie’s post.

For the first time in my internet marketing career, I have gained some affiliate commission purely by using “Pay Per Click” (”PPC”) advertising.

I’ve used AdWords PPC for several years now, but only to drive visitors to my own sites, selling my own products. But, since I got advance access to the new “PPC Classroom”, I thought I’d test out the methods taught in a real-life test.

PPC Classroom re-launched yesterday (this is “version 2″), and you can see a summary of the lessons that I studied here:

http://www.IanSays.com/PPCClassroom/HaveALook

You’ll have to scroll down past a lot of testimonials to see a description of the 9 modules that I studied. Following the teaching in those modules, I carried out these tasks:

Researched a number of affiliate programs and selected one to promote - as advised in Module 1. It wasn’t anything to do with internet marketing, computers or the internet. It was a popular consumer product.

Built up a large number of keywords. OK, I used some tools which weren’t covered in the course, but the approach I used to select the keywords was totally different to what I would have adopted before I read the lessons in Module 2.

Built a series of “landing pages” (they are “review pages”, where I compare a number of competitive products), following the advice in Modules 3 & 5 and with some techniques taught in Module 6

Created a series of AdWords campaigns - covered in Module 4

Now, as yet, I haven’t fully applied the teaching in the other modules, and I need to do some work tweaking, testing and refining my campaigns. But at least, with two sales under my belt, I have proved to my satisfaction that I could be on the right track.

And yes, the two sales did more than paid for my AdWords campaign costs One of my first tasks when I return from holiday is to start tweaking those campaigns - and looking for new affiliate products. And, of course, continuing to learn in the Classroom:

http://www.IanSays.com/PPCClassroom/HaveALook

You Won’t Be Alone
Already, some of the many subscribers who followed my earlier advice to sign up to watch the pre-launch videos and who were then invited to the sales page, have now joined me inside the PPC Classroom members area.

So, if you are wanting to look at adding revenue streams to your internet marketing activities, then generating affiliate commission through PPC is something you should definitely look at.

But please don’t try to do it by yourself unless you are an experienced AdWords user. It’s very easy to lose out on PPC campaigns unless you have an expert to guide you.

And I now feel that the guys at PPC Classroom are those expert guides. Have a look now and see if you want to join myself and other “Update” subscribers in the Members area. It’s very affordable:

http://www.IanSays.com/PPCClassroom/HaveALook

Incidentally, please do not think of signing up unless you are prepared to put some work into learning and applying that knowledge!
