For SEO Perfectionists..
If you’ve struggled to understand the complexities of Search Engine Optimisation (”SEO”) you’ll know that there are so many factors you’re supposed to take into account to achieve high rankings for your web pages and your websites.
Now I’m talking here, not about single-page sales websites, but content-rich sites.. typically, those which generate cash from a.dvertising of one sort or another.
And, in such sites, it’s not enough just to optimise single pages for the search engines, but the whole website. I’ll let SEO expert, Jeff Alderson, explain this in more detail:
“Google and the other search engines try to display the most relevant search results for a given search term by ranking sites that have a tight ‘theme relevance’ across a site and/or pages of a site. Keywords that appear on a page of a site that are synonyms of the main keyword for a site page strengthen the theme relevance of that page.
“Additionally, linking pages in a certain way that prevents ‘theme bleeding’ keeps a tight focus between pages that are linked together, strengthening the theme relevance. Theme bleeding is caused by pages of a site linking to other web pages in a way that dilutes the theme relevance of the site or pages of a site.”
Please study those two paragraphs carefully. It’s crucial to understand the importance of “theme relevance” if you want to build content-rich websites, and you want them to rank high in the search engines’ indexes.
Let me give you an extreme example to show the importance of theme relevance.
If you have a website which has a page on ice cream, a page on engineering and a page on office furniture, this would have practically no theme relevance.
If, on the other hand, your website was all about ice cream, with pages on different types of ice cream, how to make it, and so on, then this would have a high theme relevance.
But it gets trickier - and this is where I normally give up on optimising my websites! Because the issues of “keyword density”, “link relevancy” and so on are also very important. And all these factors have to work together.
Jeff Alderson, whom I quoted above, clearly understands that most people either can’t be bothered to do the work, or don’t understand what they need to do. He’s developed a really sophisticated piece of software, “SiloMatic”, which automates the whole process. You can read about it here:

Please note, when you go there, the yellow strip at the top of the page! This page is only for you and my other “Update” subscribers, and it will save you 30 bucks. Please don’t share it with anyone else.
Note: SiloMatic does not create the content for your site. You have to do that. But with many sources of content available, and tools such as “Orwell” available, content creation can be relatively swift.
Jeff’s software has many good web templates built-in, so there’s not much website building for you to do. You just drop your content into the software and it builds the web pages for you. The real power of SiloMatic, however, is in carrying out all the complex SEO work. You can see this software at work here:

I’ve had a quick play with SiloMatic. I haven’t yet tested it to destruction (!) but it works like a dream, and the user manual is the best that Jeff has produced (he wasn’t brilliant at this task in the early days!). I’ll say no more at this stage. When you’ve watched the video, you can get more detailed information here:

Remember, that’s the page where you’ll get the special price I’ve managed to negotiate for “Update” subscribers. I’m not quite sure how long Jeff will keep it there, so if you like what you see, then grab it!
When I get back from my trip, I’ll be putting SiloMatic to serious use, and I’ll be training my “virtual assistant”, Kavitha, how to use it. It’s going to be a very important tool for me.
