Getting Back Links From Blogs - The Easy Way
I’ll start by saying that this is a freebie - with no OTO, upsell or any other way to extract money from you!
Most people know by now that if you have links coming back to your website from another site, then this can enhance your site’s ranking on the search engines.
And many people have realised that if you post a comment on a blog, and if you add your website address to that comment, that also counts as a back link.
In fact, there have been software products which post comments automatically - a really horrible marketing strategy, which mercifully was soon made a useless strategy.
Other software products don’t post comments, but search for suitable blogs for you to make comments on. I told you about one of these a few weeks ago - “Comment Kahuna”. I liked it quite a lot.
But now there’s an even better software, “Real Link Finder” (”RLF”), produced by fellow Brit, Neil Shearing, and it’s 100% free. Here’s how it works: you enter a keyword and RLF goes and finds blogs associated with that keyword.
Nothing new there. Comment Kahuna does that. But, with RLF, you can also specify the number of blog comments which must have already been made on a blog post, and RLF will only show you blog posts with at least that number of comments. That’s something new.
New here’s the real killer feature in RLF. Not many people know that a lot of blogs have the “nofollow” metatag inserted. That means that the search engines won’t follow the links in any of the blog posts - or in the comments. So if you add your URL to a comment on one of these blogs, it will not count as a back link.
What RLF does, if you instruct it to, is to ignore any blogs with the “nofollow” tag. So you will only be posting a comment on a blog that will count as a back link to your site. That’s neat!
You can pick up your free copy of Real Link Finder from here:

All that Neil wants from you is your name and your email address. He’ll use this to send you the license key for the software - and it will only work on one computer. It’s Windows-only software and needs Microsoft’s .NET Framework v.2 to be installed on your PC. If it’s not installed, RLF will download .NET and install it.
I hope that you find RLF as useful as I have found it. I’ve got a good number of back links from important blogs using the software.
One final point: make sure that you had useful comments to any blog post. Most bloggers moderate comments so don’t try blatant spamming.
