Grab This Whilst It’s Still Hot!
(Even if you don’t use streaming web video, read this article to the end. There’s still a great oppor’tunity for you!)
I’ve banged the drum about website video a lot recently. I don’t mean just the “Camtasia-type” screen capture videos (powerful though they are), but streaming video, such as you’d take with a camcorder - “YouTube”-type video.
You’ve probably seen the result of my early experiment with my newly-bought camcorder. I learnt a lot of the techie stuff from Jason James’ “Audio Video Riches” course and, by carefully following all the steps in the course, I succeeded in taking the output from my camcorder and turning it into streaming web video.
But this last bit was fiddly. Basically, you have to turn the raw video file (.avi, .wmv formats etc) into what’s called the .FLV format. I got hold of some f’ree converter software, which was a bit of a pain to configure, and even then, I could only use one style of FLV player. Although it did the job, it was very restrictive in how I could present my video.
So.. roll forward the calendar to yesterday evening. At five to ten, I was preparing to stop work, because I have a deal with my wife, Ruth, that I stop work at 10 pm and go and watch an hour’s telly with her. It’s a nice way to wind down.
I’d just checked my emails, and one caught my eye. It talked about some new software, “Video Web Wizard”, which did all this FLV conversion stuff very easily. I hopped over to the sales page, watched the demos - and just grabbed the inexpensive software!
That brought me up to my 10 pm deadline. I muttered an excuse to Ruth and downloaded the software. Time: 10.05 pm. I grabbed a video file I happened to have lying around and fed it through the software. I didn’t have time to read the manual. By 10.10 pm, I had a web page up and running with my video converted into FLV format, and installed in a neat-looking FLV player. You can see the result here:

You’ll notice that if you watch the video to the end (about 30 seconds!) you’re automatically redirected to another page (I selected the site’s home page when setting up the video code). That’s something I’ve not been able to do before. What a superb marketing technique this is!
You can get more details of the software from here:

OK, I’ve talked about the techie stuff. But what are the marketing implications for you?
First, if you use streaming web video - or are planning to do so in the near future - this is a “must have” product. Apart from the ease in converting to the FLV format, you get a choice of nine styles of FLV players. And the “redirect at end of video” feature is a marketer’s dream. I haven’t seen this feature before.
Second, even if you don’t use video (yet), “Video Web Wizard” is going to be a red-hot product to sell. And you get Master Resale Rights - complete with the same sales page you see here:
http://www.IanSays.com/SubscriberSpecial/VideoWizard.htm
I think there’s going to be the same rush for the software as there was for “Impact Web Audio” a few months ago. Before long, people were giving the thing away. And it still remains the best tool I’ve used for putting audio on a web page.
That could happen to “Video Web Wizard”. But, right now, there’s a red-hot market for it. “web video” is the buzz word of the moment (all right - it’s two words!), and there a lot of people who are technologically challenged by it. They need “Video Web Wizard”.
As usual, I’ve made life easy for you, and I’ve got a special “subscriber-only” price for you - but only until next Thursday. You see, I want to sell it whilst I can at a better (for me) price.
So go and pick up your copy now:

Use it. Sell it. Enjoy!
(Sorry, this article was longer than I intended it to be. I got carried away!)
