Joomla: Content Management For The World
Recently, few “Update” subscribers emailed me asking how CMSInfusion was better than “Joomla”, a Content Management which is f’ree to download.
Well, it’s a bit like comparing a pocket calculator with a modern PC

But I’m not running Joomla down. It’s hugely popular and what it does, it seems to do very well. I say “seems” because I haven’t used it myself. But I’ve read a lot about it, and I’ve watched some very informative videos which describe exactly how to master Joomla. You can read about these videos here:

That page seems to have missed out the price, so I’ll tell you now - it’s $47 - and well worth it if you’re interested in using Joomla - and you’re struggling to master its powerful features.
Because of the interest in Joomla, I thought it worth getting this week’s guest author, Thomas Lindblom, to describe the basics of using Joomla templates to design a website. Thomas says:
“This powerful content management system is controlled by a CSS style sheet and one single XHTML document. Joomla gives you total creative control over the appearance of the website by using one of the many Joomla templates available.”
You can read the rest of his short, but informative article here:
