I decided to write this week’s article myself. And I thought I’d combine my two professional interests - webmastering (is there such a word?) and internet marketing.

Over the years, despite being a dyed-in-the-wool “dirt world” salesman and marketer, I started to get interested in techie things. Although not a brilliant coder, I became fascinated by the power of web programming languages. You really can break the shackles of HTML, without too much effort.

In this article, which I only wrote this morning, I explain why “PHP”, one of the most popular web programming languages, is such a good choice for internet marketers to use.

I’ve tried to demystify the whole business of web programming languages. I explain the difference between “client-side” and “server-side” languages and show why these differences are important to internet marketers.
